Born and raised on Chicago’s South Side, Jame$ Dean is a true House DJ rooted in the city where the sound was born. Known for seamless, high-energy sets, Jame$ moves effortlessly through all genres of House, always focused on one goal: keeping the dance floor moving.

Jame$ has performed at some of Chicago’s most respected venues and festivals, as well as clubs and events around the world. Constantly evolving both on and off the decks, he has earned respect through dedication to his craft and a deep understanding of house music culture. His sound is influenced by many of the genre’s pioneers and global leaders—several of whom he has had the privilege to open for.

His guest mixes can be found on some of the world’s most respected underground platforms, including Music Is 4 Lovers, Beach Podcast, EDM Identity, House Salad Radio, 5 Magazine, Data Transmission, and Pioneer DJ Radio.

Locally, Jame$ has shared the stage with Chicago house legends such as Gene Hunt, Gene Farris, Paul Johnson, CZR, Mike Dunn, Terry Hunter, Alan King, DJ Rap, The Hot Mix Five, Ron Carroll, Diz Washington, Wayne Williams, and DJ Funk—true pioneers of the movement. Nationally and internationally, he has performed alongside artists including Roger Sanchez, Claptone, Gorgon City, Jack Master Farley, Hannah Wants, Umek, Deeon, GTA, The Cube Guys, and more.

Career highlights include Spring Awakening Music Festival, Mamby on the Beach after-party with Gorgon City, House of Sol Fest, marathon rooftop sets at Virgin Hotel Chicago (Cerise Rooftop), rooftop performances at the Thompson Hotel in Cabo, direct support for Roger Sanchez, and multiple performances at Chicago’s Daley Center.
